Op 24 november 2007 overleed een vriend van ons ‚Tommo’ in Engeland.
Zijn ‚ter gedachtenis van’ kaartje heeft als geen ander indruk op ons gemaakt.
Een kaartje gedrukt op plastic dat net als de kredietkaart in je portemonnee past.
Op de voorzijde lazen we:
Ter nagedachtenis van …….. (In memory of ……..)
No person is ever truly alone

Whom we loved
Echo still within our thoughts
Our words, our hearts
and what they did, who they were
Becomes a part of all that we are
Forever
en op de achterzijde:
You can shed tears
that they have gone

and see that they have left
Your heart can be empty
because you can’t see them
Or you can be full of the love
that you have shared
